The Story
On October 17, 2003, we gathered at the Laredo Center for the Arts and I gave my concert there. This fundraiser was very successful. Afterwards, those in attendance got to be involved in an auction. You will see some scenes below in the concert room upstairs which used to be an old school in Laredo. Downstairs was the site of the auction. Photos of Dimitrina and Ninov were made as well as friends and family. We all had a great time. We stayed at Laredo's famous La Posada Hotel right on the border. You will find some photos in their courtyards. The next day we toured the church in Laredo Square. Also, we looked across the Rio Grande into Mexico but did not have time to travel there on this visit.
